Spanning more than two thousand years, it traces the Qiantang seawall's evolution from its beginnings to the present. Through cinematic storytelling and digital visual art, the film recreates the ingenuity and sense of responsibility of seawall builders across the ages. It examines how the seawall helped shape West Lake, nurture Hangzhou and witness the city's journey from its beginnings by river and sea to the digital-economy era.
