By closely examining and juxtaposing Song porcelain and Labubu—two cultural symbols that appear to have almost nothing in common—the film explores an aesthetic and psychological question that spans past and present: Why can "imperfection" become a form of beauty with greater emotional force and vitality, and ultimately win over the world?
